Groups for Children, Parents, & Therapists in Livermore and All of California Online

For AdultsFor Children

Group therapy offers a powerful format for healing and growth, bringing together individuals with shared goals under the guidance of a licensed therapist. At Wonderment Family Therapy, our groups draw on approaches like redecision therapy, expressive arts, and sand tray therapy for adults, and play therapy — including Gestalt play therapy, sand tray, and LEGO® Serious Play® — for children.

All participants complete a full-session intake process before joining. Groups are offered in Livermore and sometimes online, for both children and parents. Details on each group are below.

Sandtray Therapy Group

Life brings losses and experiences that words alone can’t always hold. This group uses sandtray therapy alongside transactional analysis, Gestalt, and redecision work to help adults process grief and trauma, and rewrite old life scripts. Working with image, metaphor, and imagination, you’ll explore what’s beneath the surface and discover new paths forward — in a small, supportive group setting.

This group is with Dr. Emily Keller, a Registered Sand Therapist Consultant/Trainer and World Association of Sand Therapy Professionals board member.

*This is a weekly commitment (unless the therapist is out of town, OOT dates to be posted in advance). Because we are reserving a spot for you, the fee is due whether you attend or not.
